 What is radio frequency?

Radio frequency is a leading edge technology that safely heats the collagen in the dermis, if enough energy is delivered, the collagen will contract contributing to an immediate change in skin appearance.

How does it work?

EndyMed™3DEEP® uses cutting edge technology to deliver controlled, focused radiofrequency into your skin, gently generating the peak level of heat to stimulate your skin cells. Stimulating the dermal cells in this way encourages new collagen to be produced. This successively improves the underlying structures of your skin, causing it to tighten and lift.

What conditions can the Endymed treat?

Sun damaged skin- Fractional skin resurfacing.

Is it painful?
EndyMed™3DEEP® safely achieves these results without any pain or recovery time, but giving natural, long-lasting results.
EndyMed Fractional Skin Resurfacing feels hotter on the surface of the skin than the EndyMed tightening and therefore aesthetic cream is applied 30 to 40 minutes before the treatment.

How many treatments are required?

Minimum of 6 treatments. Every 2 weeks apart for skin tightening and 3 treatments for skin resurfacing followed by the top up treatments. We recommend one course of treatment a year to maintain the results.

Is EndyMed safe on all skin types?

Yes, The treatment does not target melanin (pigment) and therefore can be used in all skin types safely. The EndyMed 3DEEP radiofrequency technology acts on your skin by heating it at a deeper level, in the dermis, stimulating new collagen production.
The result is firmer, smoother, tighter and fresher looking skin. Because the process stimulates your skin’s normal processes it is safe for all skin types and produces natural, long-lasting results.

How is procedure?

For skin resurfacing: During the procedure small areas of epidermis are removed which allows new tissue to be formed. This is done using radiofrequency to generate intense heat in small columns. In order to ensure the procedure is comfortable your practitioner will numb the treated area with a topical anaesthetic. The handpiece will then be applied to your skin, and moved across the treatment area in a regular pattern. Skin under the handpiece will also be heated at a deeper level to help to stimulate new collagen. A soothing recovery gel is applied to help your skin’s recovery following the procedure. Immediately after you have received the Fractional Skin Resurfacing treatment you will experience some redness, which can last up to two days. You may also develop micro-crusting, as the skin cells renew and the resurfacing takes place. This can last for three to five days. We recommend the use of high level UV protection, such as a product from the Heliocare range, during and following your course of treatment to help protect your skin.

What should I do after the treatment?

Following the procedure you can immediately return to your regular skincare regimes. However, the results you achieve with this treatment will be enhanced by using an anti-ageing skincare regime that complements your skin type as well as using a high level broad spectrum sun protection to reduce the effect of photo-ageing. We recommend the use of high level UV protection, such as a product from the Heliocare range.

When will I see the results?

Results will be apparent from the first treatment as you’ll see an instant lift caused by the contraction of the skin collagen. This is a short-term response and can last up to two days post-treatment. The subsequent, repeated treatments will build the long lasting response, as new collagen is produced. While some patients will see some lasting visible improvements early on, the optimum results are often seen around three months later following a full course of the recommended treatments. Results can last years depending upon your skin’s particular natural ageing process, although your practitioner will recommend top-up treatments every three to six months.
