Do you have really fine hair that you want to get rid off?
Here at The Angel Laser Clinic we have the latest laser for fine hair removal. We are a clinic based in North London. In some cases laser hair removal cannot target certain hair due to the fact that they are too light or the hair is to fine to be treated. Fine hair is very difficult to get rid off. With traditional lasers the thicker and darker the hair the better the results will be. For this type of fine hair we use the latest medical technology called Revlite laser.
The Revlite is a new generation Q-Switched Nd:Yag laser. It is a very unique laser because unlike most lasers for hair reduction this laser targets fine hair effectively. Using Q-switched engineering the laser produces very rapid, short pulse widths of energy, limiting the healthy tissue’s exposure to thermal build-up for a safe, fast and effective treatment. This new technology uses Photo Acoustic energy. Short pulses of light penetrate the hair follicle and disrupt any factors that are responsible for hair growth. Unlike our other laser hair removal method for thicker hair ,you do not need to shave the area but the hair cannot be any longer than 2cm. At first you may notice the hair become blonde or de pigmented after a few sessions you will notice the hair become thinner and finer in some cases the hair eventually will fall out but not everyone gets hair removal, in most cases there is hair reduction and hair lightening that makes this type of unwanted hair manageable and less noticeable. Another option is electrolysis but again fine and light hair is more difficult to treat than thicker, darker hair. The Revlite is a great solution to manage this type of fine hair. It is a quick treatment compared to electrolysis and it gives you instant bleaching of the hair, you don’t have to shave the hairs and it is a a very comfortable treatment with no discomfort.
